Komson Hutapaed

Komson Hutapaed is vice president of the Media Center for Development Foundation, a Bangkok-based NGO that has worked for 30 years to promote organic farming, self-sufficient and eco-friendly living, renewable energy and the urban environment. He initiated Grandpa Urban Farm in Bangkok, a role-model and learning centre for small-space urban organic farming and eco-friendly living, and runs the Santwana Eco Community project in Bangkok to promote urban forestry, biodiversity and urban ecological farming, adapting the philosophy and techniques of permaculture.
