Permaculture educator and regenerative design practitioner in India
Rahul Tola is a permaculture practitioner, regenerative design educator and systems thinker exploring the relationship between ecology, people and place. He came to permaculture through hands-on work with farms, ecological communities and learning spaces across India. He has trained in permaculture design, systems thinking, natural building, soil health and regenerative agriculture, and has worked with initiatives in Auroville, the Himalayas and the Western Ghats.
His work today focuses on making ecological principles practical through observation, hands-on learning and design. He is particularly interested in how permaculture education can evolve through experiential learning, technology and new forms of storytelling. He sees permaculture not simply as a set of techniques, but as a way of learning to see relationships, patterns and living systems.
