How we handle your information

Who we are

This website, thaipermaculture.org, is run by the Thai Permaculture team. It hosts the Thai permaculture directory and information about IPC16 Thailand 2026. If you have any question about this page or about your information, email us at info@thaipermaculture.org and a human will answer.

What we collect, and why

Forms you fill in. When you send us a form, we keep your name, email address and what you wrote. We use it to reply to you and, if you asked for updates, to send you news about IPC16. Submissions are stored in this website’s own database and deleted after one year. A copy goes to the team by email, and you receive a confirmation email.

How the site is used. With your permission, we use Google Analytics to see which pages people read, how far they scroll, and which buttons they click. This helps us make the site clearer. We never send the contents of a form to analytics — only that a form was viewed or completed.

Nothing else. We do not run advertising on this site, and we never sell your information.

Where your information goes

  • Google. Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics and stored in Google’s cloud for our reports. It is kept for up to 14 months in analytics reports.
  • Ticket purchases. Tickets for IPC16 are sold on Ticketmelon, a separate website with its own privacy policy. We do not see your payment details.
  • The registration form for students and groups runs on Google Forms, under Google’s privacy policy.
  • Email updates. If we send news by email, we use a mailing service to deliver it. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Your choices

  • The cookie banner asks before any analytics runs. You can change your answer at any time via Privacy & cookie settings in the footer of every page.
  • You can email info@thaipermaculture.org to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
  • Every update email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also just reply and ask to be removed.
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and, where the change matters, ask for your consent again through the banner.
