Permaculture Workshop IPC16 · Edge Event

Designing Sustainable City Living with Permaculture is a two-day introductory permaculture workshop in Bangkok on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026, from 08:30 to 17:00 both days. It is taught in Thai. The workshop is part of IPC16 and is organised by Bangkok Rooftop Farming and the Earth Net Foundation.

It is for city dwellers facing PM2.5, heat and food waste, and shows how to turn a balcony, condo or rooftop into an edible, self-reliant ecosystem. Participants explore a real urban farm, learn to read sun, wind and rain, turn food scraps into compost, and design their own space to take home.

The teacher is Vitoon Panyakul, an organic agriculture advocate and permaculture adviser. The workshop is held in Meeting Room 1 at the Girl Guides Association of Thailand, next to BTS Victory Monument.

The fee is 3,000 baht, including course materials, snacks and drinks. Lunch is not included. There are 20 places, and the workshop suits beginners with no background. To book, use the registration form from the organisers. For questions, contact LINE @Wastegetable or email wastegetable@gmail.com.
