Earth Passengers

Co-founders: Hui-i Chiang and Peter Morehead. Earth Passengers is the first organization to introduce permaculture to Taiwan, with over 20 years of practical experience in permaculture design and education across grassroots, community, outdoor and formal (K-12) education. Initiated by Hui-i Chiang and Peter Morehead in 1997 with a focus on environmental education, the organisation began blending permaculture philosophy and principles into its programs after Peter completed a permaculture design course in Australia in 1999. They have run dozens of PDCs and hundreds of short courses, trained other permaculture trainers, and built a strong network of students and colleagues in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.

Permaculture design courses (PDC), short courses and hands-on workshops from introductory to advanced, including self-sufficiency training in energy, water, soil and natural building, in formal (K-12) and non-formal community settings.
