Since 1997, the Global Ecovillage Network Oceania & Asia (GENOA) has been connecting the people, places and practices across one of the most biodiverse and culturally rich regions on Earth, all moving toward a regenerative future in their own way.
Our network is wonderfully diverse and includes traditional villages and indigenous communities, urban eco-neighbourhoods, intentional communities, Social enterprises and grassroots initiatives. What we have in common is a shared choice: a commitment to finding another way to live, across four dimensions of regeneration – social, cultural, ecological, and economic.
These are living experiments. Real people, real places, doing the hard and hopeful work of figuring out what regenerative life actually looks like on the ground – and sharing what they learn.
