Robin is a Permaculture Pioneer, international educator, group facilitator and best-selling author
Robin Clayfield is an acknowledged Permaculture Elder and Pioneer and an international educator, group facilitator, ceremony guide and ‘best-selling’ author specialising in Social Permaculture, creative, interactive facilitation, teacher training, group leadership and community governance. She has lived and breathed Permaculture, Deep Ecology and social change for over 43 years.
Robin has lived at Crystal Waters Permaculture EcoVillage in Queensland, Australia for over 38 years and guides tours and ‘EcoVillage Experience Days’ in and around the village. She has written books, a training manual and many kits, card games and resources to support educators, facilitators, group decision makers, along with Permaculture practitioners, activists and community workers from diverse industries and lifestyles.
After teaching more than 30 PDC’s (Permaculture Design Certificate Courses) in 15 years from 1989, Robin chose to concentrate on Social Permaculture activities many years ago, though still runs a 2 week Residential PDC at Crystal Waters and does guest spots and sessions in PDC’s around the country and the world.
Robin also lives Permaculture, in the garden and the community, and has always actively practiced Permaculture Design and Landuse Planning. She has a wealth of Plant Lore, hand’s on gardening skills, food forestry and loves composting. She hosts and mentors volunteers and organises work sessions and group gardening experiences.
Robin supports people and groups who work for ‘the solution’ to be more effective, successful and empowered through harvesting solutions, fostering collaboration and using ‘Dynamic Group’ work and creative problem solving. She consults and facilitates for focused groups, intentional communities, organisations, social enterprises and individuals globally.
