Dynamic Facilitation for Earth and Community Stewards

Dynamic Facilitation for Earth and Community Stewards is a six-day residential training from 29 October to 3 November 2026 at Bamboo Retreat in Kuala Kubu Bharu Heights, Selangor, Malaysia. It runs before IPC16 begins and is taught by Robin Clayfield from Australia, one of the IPC16 Conference and Convergence presenters and the originator of Dynamic Groups, Dynamic Learning. Rimba Asli convenes the training and The Habitat Foundation sponsors it.

The course helps people from any field train, teach, facilitate and lead groups more confidently and interactively, not only in permaculture. It is for people working with people to create positive change, such as facilitators, educators, trainers, teachers, community leaders, conservation and NGO practitioners, youth leaders, coaches, activists, farmers, designers and community organisers.

Participants learn to create participatory experiences, lead learning, meetings and group processes with more confidence, draw out collective wisdom, and design learning that is experiential and memorable. Each person leaves with a practical facilitation toolkit of processes, activities, planning methods and adaptable resources.

Bamboo Retreat overlooks the Titiwangsa Range, and the course is limited to 16 participants. The fee is RM 2,250, including six days of meals and board, with a Plus 1 offer at RM 1,680. Registration takes a deposit of RM 500.

To book, use the course page on the Rimba Asli website. For questions, email nurture@rimbaasli.com or send a WhatsApp message to +60 13-221 7321.
